It\u2019s worth noting that while there are so many great mothers out there, some did not grow up with a good mom. For some it\u2019s a source of pain to even consider. For them I say, there\u2019s a good example to look to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Picture it, Jesus is hanging out at a wedding. Just trying to enjoy his time. They run out of wine. Jesus\u2019 mom, Mary goes over to Jesus and says, \u201cThey have no more wine.\u201d I imagine there was a look that accompanied that phrase. You know the look. The one where a mom says, \u201cyour room still isn\u2019t clean\u201d then gives that look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then Jesus says, \u201cwhy are you involving me in this? It\u2019s not my time yet.\u201d She all but ignores his insistence on remaining anonymous. She just turns to the servants and says, \u201cDo whatever he tells you to do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The very first miracle Jesus performed took place because mother knew best. She didn\u2019t listen to his desire to stay away. She knew his calling and didn\u2019t let him sit idle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Mother\u2019s Day, remembering Mary is a good idea. Her life was very difficult, yet very rewarding. And she embraced the role of a great mother till the very end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
